“Rain is grace; rain is the sky descending to the earth; without rain, there would be no life.”
– John Updike

Alarm set for 6.45 am. At 5.30 am, Shell is asking me if I am awake.
We load the bikes and some breakfast.
On the road at 7.40 am.

We are home and showered by 11.30 am.
There are no pictures; we didn’t stop.
I will read a book and have an early night.

– Fyodor Dostoyevsky
