“Some of us think holding on makes us strong, but sometimes it is letting go.”
Hermann Hesse
A good night’s sleep.
Off to Bułkę przez Bibułkę for breakfast. We arrive just after opening and it is already filling up.
A bagel for Shell and I have the omelet.

Our last day in Europe, maybe for some time.
We head back to Dubai to collect our things before leaving for Korea.
Killing time in the apartment, I finish Pnin and start Pale Fire.
Of all Nabokov’s novels, I find Pnin the most difficult. Nabokov creates protagonists destined for tragedy, but you enjoy their misfortune because they are horrible people. Not Pnin. He is a gentleman and a gentle man. His downfall is tragic, and I find it difficult reading.

We head to the airport.
Our flight arrives late in the evening.
