Another day of driving. The road to Alsace.

We stop just outside of Waldorf for a picnic lunch.

If there is a more Germanic town than Waldorf, I have never seen it.

We grab some food at the Supermarket.

A few hours later, we arrive in Nohfleden to spend the night.

Our apartment is very good. Incredible kitchen and a nice balcony to read on now the sun is out.

I make some dinner, and we plan the next few days in the Alsace while we drink a cheap, supermarket Riesling.

I have three wineries picked out, and we have a reservation at our favourite restaurant, L’Auberge du Vallon.

A short drive tomorrow and a wine tasting at Domaine Christian Binner.
